I professed my love for my air fryer on my last blog post, so it should be no surprise that I am back with a new recipe also featuring my air fryer! Since purchasing my air fryer, I have stuck with chicken and potatoes for the most part. This weekend, I decided to throw in some brussels sprouts to basically “roast” them. It was a simple process that I thought was worth sharing with you all so here is my Air Fryer Brussels Sprouts recipe.

Air Fryer Brussels Sprouts
Ingredients
- 1 Tablespoon Olive Oil
- 2 Slices Bacon Uncooked
- 12 Ounces Brussels Sprouts
- 1/4 Cup Balsamic Vinegar
- Seasonings Of your choice
Instructions
-
Cut the brussels sprouts in half and then cut the slices of bacon in to small pieces. Place the cut up veggies and bacon in a bowl.
-
Pour in olive oil, balsamic vinegar and seasonings over sprouts and bacon. I typically add salt, pepper, garlic powder and herbs de provence. Season to taste.
-
Be sure to refer to the instructions for your air fryer. For me, I set my air fryer on 375 degrees for 10 minutes. After ten minutes, the bacon is crispy and the brussels sprouts have a darker green color. Serve warm.
The Takeaway
A few thoughts! First, who was behind the brussels sprouts rebrand? That is one veggie that every 90s tv show used as the “worst” veggie, now all of us are finding fun ways to eat it! For me, if I want to give a veggie something different with little effort, i use balsamic vinegar. It also works wonders on broccoli too!
The other key thing here is the bacon. If you are vegetarian or non-pork eater, obviously you can omit the bacon. I on the other hand love to add bacon to any and everything even if it is a small portion. Another tip I recommend is picking up the no sugar added bacon. Here is the version I use from Whole Foods. YES, they add sugar to bacon even though it does not need it. Using the no sugar added version also makes this recipe Whole30 complaint.
I hope you enjoy this easy Air Fryer Brussels Sprouts recipe. Be sure to pin this for later and rate the recipe!
What brand of air fryer do I have?
It is a Chefman. I got it from Target. Here is the link to it.
OMG this will be my next Brussels sprouts meal! One of my fave veggies…thx!
Does the middle part get tender? I’m looking to recreate a prosciutto, shaved Parmesan balsamic number from a local restaurant here in SD who deep fries them. Their Brussel sprouts practically melt in your mouth. I tried doing it in the oven but the center was too dense. Stove top w a little oil didn’t do the trick either. This looks like it might be the winner. I don’t own a air fryer but I might now
This was really good! The vinegar with the bacon gives it a roast yet bbq kinda flavor! I love it. Didn’t expect to like it this much. Definitely gonna be using this quick recipe a lot more.
Yay! Thank you for coming back and rating the recipe!
We definitely love brussels sprouts! Can you use frozen brussels sprouts instead of fresh to air fry?
I don’t use my air fryer nearly enough so I was excited to break it out for these sprouts. They did NOT disappoint!
Still waiting on my air fryer. Looks so good!
An air fryer is my next purchase and I love Brussels! I’m excited to add this to my list! The addition of bacon is a nice touch!
I agree that brussels sprouts really had a MAJOR glow up! And lucky us because they’re so good! This recipe is perfect because it’s got both bacon and balsamic for that perfect tangy, smoky flavor!
These brussel sprouts are so delicious! I absolutely love the balsamic and olive oil on top! So yummy!
Tried this with my new air fryer and it was a hit! The mix of flavors from the bacon and balsamic were the perfect combo! Looking forward to trying another recipe!
Brussels sprouts have become a fan favorite over here! I loved trying them out in my air fryer. They cooked so fast, and were GREAT!
I’ve never been the biggest fan of brussels sprouts, but I think you’ve just converted me! These were actually really good!
bacon makes everything better doesnt it. I haven’t yet tried brussel sprouts in the air fryer. Will have to remedy that at the soonest!
Brussels sprouts are my weakness and now that you’ve shown me how to make them in an air fryer, there’s no going back!
This recipe got my husband to eat brussels sprouts! Like GIRL! A total win! The bacon definitely brings this up to a new level.
This is definitely on my weekend menu list! The mix of flavor is impeccable. I am an air fryer person especially summer time! This is a recipe fr me. Thanks for sharing it.
