East Hampton Sandwich Co.

East Hampton Sandwich Co. is coming in with a bang as it joins the Houston food scene.  They opened their first location in the ultra chic River Oaks District a few months back and have now joined Velvet Taco in a new retail space in Montrose.  I had the pleasure of visiting yesterday during their grand opening and of course I have thoughts below on East Hampton Sandwich Co.! Location/Setup Located at the corner of Westheimer and Montrose, the second location is in a great spot near Snooze and Velvet Taco.   Best of all, it has its own parking lot [...]

Brunch at Fremont Chicago

My birthday celebrations continued this past weekend with a birthday trip to Chicago. Now, the main attraction for this trip was my best friend’s daughter’s birthday party.  She turned five and just so happens to have a birthday the day before mine.  After her daughter’s  “unicorn extravaganza” my bestie treated me to brunch at Fremont Chicago, because what is a better gift for someone like me?!  So here is a peek in to the Chicago brunch scene with my review of the Brunch at Fremont Chicago.  The Setup The first thing that guests should know is Fremont is literally a [...]

Where to Eat in Aruba

We have come to my favorite part of any trip recap, THE FOOD! With a crew of eleven people I knew I had to do research beforehand and reserve as many tables as possible before we arrived.  With google and a little bit of luck while on the island, we found a few great restaurants that I highly recommend.  Before I jump in to all of the goods on this Where to Eat in Aruba post please note that we ate outside at night a lot, as such photos were nearly impossible so this will not be much a visual [...]
