So I am back to creating great dessert recipes for the blog!  The older I get, the more I relate to one of my aunts.  She can cook just about anything, but her speciality is baking.   Like her, that is what I enjoy!  With Christmas around the corner, I decided to go for some Christmas style cookies and came up with the idea for Brown Sugar Cookies with Candy Canes.

Hear me out on why this is an amazing combination that you NEED for the holidays!  First of all, brown sugar over white sugar all day everyday!  It brings a richer flavor and color to your traditional sugar cookies.  Then you take the mint flavor from the candy canes, a dash of cinnamon plus the added sugar?  With each bite you are getting an added flavor taking your typical one dimensional flavored sugar cookies to a whole other level!  Pin it, share and enjoy!
