So technically it IS delivery, but I loved this title so I had to go with it! Brunch is very much a social experience. You grab your crew and catch up on the good gossip around a carafe of mimosas. I completely get that, but some days I just want the food without the fluff. Basically send me the chicken and waffles to my door, so I do not have to don makeup and a cute outfit! For me, during the weekend when I am working my to 5-9 (i.e. this blog) having brunch delivered is THE best thing! To make life easier for you, I went through your favorite delivery companies websites UberEats, Postmates and Favor to find the best brunch options that deliver (just search the desired restaurant on the app or website). Get into this list of It’s Not Delivery, It’s Brunch at Home!
For breakfast Dish Society has all of your standard fare such as eggs, french toast and breakfast potatoes. Best of all you can order this all at home and pretend that you made it! (Available via Uber Eats, Postmates and Favor)
This neighborhood bar serves some great standard fare for brunch like eggs and hash browns, plus they throw in some French dishes like a Croque Madame. If you are looking for something a bit different, the Del is probably where you should start! (Available via UberEats and Favor)
Max’s Wine Dive
There have been a lot of brunch spots to join the Houston landscape since Max’s opened, yet none have taken it’s crown as a Houston fave! As you know both locations stay packed, so delivery on a Saturday is a great option!(Available via UberEats and Favor)
Hugs & Donuts
I will admit I have tried Hugs & Donuts just yet. I have heard great things though, plus donuts just seem like something you would need delivered right? Plus these come with hugs! (Available via Favor and Postmates)
Revival Market trends more towards the lunch side of brunch with sandwiches and soups. While this is not typical it is still light and filling enough to be eaten during the brunch hour. (Available via UberEats, Postmates, Favor)
Empire Cafe is a popular cafe in the Montrose neighborhood serving huge breakfast & brunch menus! As you can imagine, being a cafe means that Empire Cafe offers a lot more than your typical restaurants. (Available via UberEats)
Hearsay Gastro Lounge
Hearsay honestly has a pretty good brunch and somehow I forget about it! Now that I know I can have those lemon ricotta pancakes delivered right to my door? I may just be eating them more! (Available via Postmastes)
With this list I have empowered you to go forth and brunch fabulously from home! If you are not in Houston, a simple search of brunch or breakfast in all three apps pulls up the goods! Also, excuse my throwback photos from my novice food blogger days :)!
