Hey friends! I am back to share an exciting event with you all! Next week is the 12th Annual Wine and Food Week in the Woodlands.  This year’s theme is “A New York State of Mind” and will be held from June 6th through 12th at various venues in the Woodlands area.

When they said “WEEK” they were serious. Check out the jam packed schedule below!

Tuesday, June 7th 7-10pm “It’s A Guy Thing” includes food, drink and entertainment catered to the men such as poker, craft beers and cigars.  Everything about that has “guy party” written all over it.

Wednesday, June 8th 6-9pm “Women, Wine, & All Things Fashionable” it is now the ladies turn with a day centered around US and all the things we love.  This day will feature a fashion show, wine, food and even a fortune teller!

Friday, June 10th there are a couple of events on Friday. For the ladies who lunch, from noon to 3pm there is a “Ladies of the Vine Tasting, Luncheon and Panel Discussion” which will feature wine tasting stations.  Then moving into the nighttime hours there will be an event from 6pm to 9pm called “Sips, Suds & Tacos” where guests will take part in the “Taco Takedown,” a competition to determine the best taco! As with the other events, it will of course feature wine, beer and live music.

Saturday, June 11th is the last day and the event planners have really filled this day up as well! From 4:30pm to 6:30pm the “Northwestern Mutual Platinum Wine Vault” will provide access to an exclusive tasting before the week’s grand finale.  The week long celebration ends with the “Wine Rendezvous Grand Tasting & Chef Showcase” from 7pm to 10pm.  This is an adult event that will include competition featuring more than 60 of the nation’s top restaurants.  There will even be a “Just Desserts” contest.  Best of all, this event benefits an organization called New Danville, a master integrated community for adults with intellectual disabilities.
